What data we process
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we receive:
- your name, email address, phone number and message
- any photos or drawings you upload
- for businesses: company name, organisation number, address and whether you want EHF invoicing
We do not use analytics or tracking, and the website sets no cookies of its own.
Purpose and legal basis
The data is only used to answer your enquiry, prepare a price estimate and, if relevant, carry out the work. The legal basis is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For contact persons at businesses, the basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with clients (Article 6(1)(f)).
Who processes the data on our behalf
We use these providers (data processors) to run the website and receive enquiries:
- Cloudflare – hosts the website and receives the form. Also processes IP addresses for operation and security.
- Resend – sends your enquiry to us by email. Emails are sent from Resend's servers in the EU (Ireland).
- Uniweb (One.com) – provides our email, where enquiries are stored.
Cloudflare and Resend are US companies. Any transfer of data to the US is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Lookups in public registers
When a business enters an organisation number or searches for a company name in the form, the lookup is made directly from your browser to the Brønnøysund Register Centre. The organisation number is also checked against the Peppol directory to see whether the business can receive EHF invoices. This is public information about businesses.
Map
The map in the contact section is provided by Google Maps. When the map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
How long we keep the data
Enquiries and photos are deleted when no longer needed, and no later than 12 months after the last contact if no job follows. If you become a customer, data that forms part of our accounts is kept for as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing. Contact us at post@trekkeriet.no.
If you believe we process personal data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
